Dubbed "the Queen Of Startups", Bindi is passionate about all things tech in Europe, and connecting the dots between investors, founders, corporates and government.
She has worked with in tech as a consultant (PwC Consulting), corporate (Microsoft BizSpark /Ventures), startup employee (Trayport), advisor (Startup Europe, Startup Weekend Europe, Tech London Advocates), and, until recently, banker (Silicon Valley Bank).
Bindi currently sits on the advisory boards of six startups and one venture debt fund, as well as the digital advisory board of Shop Direct plc (£1.9bn t/o business) and the advisory boards of European Innovation Council, Startup Europe (EU) and Tech London Advocates. She is also an ambassador for Innovate Finance, and recently finished a term as trustee for TechStars Startup Weekend Europe.
She is a passionate advocate for promoting Women in Tech and, as such, six of her advisory board roles are for women-founded businesses.
Bindi joined Silicon Valley Bank as Vice President II, where she focused on building out SVB's early stage banking efforts in Europe, as well as driving the bank's relationships with corporates and emerging VCs.
Her passion for entrepreneurship was cemented as Venture Capital/Emerging Business lead at Microsoft UK. For five years, she led BizSpark in the UK (now Microsoft Ventures). Here, she focused on how Microsoft could drive success for early-stage technology companies, and also partnered with the UK Investor Community. She is an active mentor at top London Incubators including Seedcamp, TechStars, Startupbootcamp, WAYRA, JLab, Microsoft Ventures & Level39.
Few know the personalities and trends of the European tech scene as well as Bindi, but her expertise on digital disruption and transformation are applicable globally.
