Craig Wing is an entrepreneur turned business strategist focusing on future thinking, innovation, leadership and corporate culture. He helps firms navigate the evolving world of technology, changing customers and new forms of work. His book, Expert Mavericks (2016) was a #1 best-seller on Amazon in 3 different business categories.
Already in his career so far, Craig has has filed 2 patents and started 3 companies. The first was a technology company to help partially-sighted children maximise their remaining vision. The second was a a strategy consultancy helping entrepreneurs. The third was a cleantech non-profit in Silicon Valley.
As Head of Small Business Marketing for Google, Craig launched South African Business Woza online, where SME’s created 50,000 websites in its inaugural year – one every ten minutes. He grew revenue by 82% YoY and was selected the African “Googliest Googler!”
He is an adjunct professor at the Indian School of Business (ISB) and adjunct faculty for Duke Corporate Education. He is also an AFLI Desmond Tutu Fellow, AshokaU Changemaker, World Economic Forum Global Shaper, Mail and Guardian Top 200 under 35, Destiny Man Top 40 under 40 and African Independent, disruptive Innovation speaker at TEDx and profiled at the Clinton Global Initiative. He is currently a partner at FutureWorld, a future-proofing consultancy.
