Dan Cobley is a business innovator and marketing expert now focusing on the FinTech space.
After four years at Capital One as Head of Brand and Marketing, Dan joined Google as Director of Marketing, UK, Ireland and Benelux in 2006. He went on to become VP of Marketing for Google North and Central Europe (2010-2011), before becoming Google Managing Director, UK and Ireland, where he for $5bn of revenue and the team responsible for Google's largest market outside the US.
He left Google in 2014, taking his experience in the finance and technology sectors and applying it as Blenheim Chalcot's Managing Partner, FinTech. Here he supports the founding and growth of companies seeking to help consumers and small businesses address their financial needs through technology.
Dan is cofounder of ClearScore, BizFiTech, SalaryFinance and Dynamo Mortgages, and supports the growth of Liberis and Modulr Finance. He is also an advisor/investor to a number of startups outside FinTech, including qubit.com, onfido.com, hivelearning.com, personalboardroom.com, bijoucommerce.com and okhi.com.
