She is on the core faculty of the extraordinary global programme, Homeward Bound, which culminates in an all-women expedition to Antarctica and is being filmed as a documentary. The programme aims at increasing the influence and impact of women in the sciences.
Susan’s best-selling book and hugely popular TED talk (see opposite) have made her one of the most sought-after expert speakers on behaviour change, peak performance and leadership in the world.
Her theory of “Emotional Agility” argues that the way we navigate our inner world – our everyday thoughts, emotions, and self-stories – is the single most important determinant of our life success. It is a process that enables us to navigate life’s twists and turns with self-acceptance, clear-sightedness, and an open mind, thereby allowing us to ignite positive change.
