Benita Matofska is a leading expert on the Sharing Economy and the founder and CEO of The People Who Share, a social enterprise that helps people and companies discover and access the Sharing Economy.
In her role as CEO, Benita travels the globe speaking and consulting for people and companies looking to integrate the sharing space into their businesses.
Benita is also the recipient of multiple awards including: NatWest Venus Entrepreneur of the Year 2015, Winner of UnLtd’s Fast Growth Programme 2015, Winner Mass Challenge 2015, Ogunte Women’s Social Leadership Awards for Best Social Business Leader UK & World 2013, Venus Business Award, Inspirational Woman 2013 and the Nesta Innovation In Giving Fund.

A seasoned public speaker, Benita has shared a platform with Desmond Tutu at the One Young World Congress and been invited to Number 10 Downing Street to present her work and insights. She has also spoken at the European Commission, the Global Entrepreneurship Congress in Dubai, FT European Sharing Economy Summit, Nesta (where she launched the Global Sharing Economy Network), the House of Commons and House of Lords.
