Paul Craven helps people understand how real people make real decisions in the real world.
Using insights from behavioural economics and psychology, he shows audiences how to make better decisions, whether in business strategy, sales, investment, or understanding financial markets.
He retired from Goldman Sachs Asset Management at the end of 2013 after six years with the firm, where he was a managing director and latterly the head of European Institutional Business, as well as previously head of EMEA and head of UK business.
Prior to Goldman Sachs, Paul worked at PIMCO Europe Ltd for four years, where he was head of UK Business Development. Previously, he spent seventeen years at Schroders as a portfolio manager and later as head of UK Institutional Sales.
His 30 year business career has focused on financial markets, pension fund investment and latterly Behavioural Economics. He also acts as an investment advisor to a major institutional pension fund.
